Aindrias de Staic - One-Man show ‘The Man From Moogaga’

The UK Premiere of Aindrias de Staic's Award Winning One-Man show, ‘The Man From Moogaga’.

The devilishly handsome and debonair Aindrias de Staic has many strings to his well-worn bow. He is an award winning actor, a captivating Irish yarn spinner, a comedian, an awesome musician and he is currently one of the fastest rising stars in the whole of Ireland! Since taking over as presenter of Ireland's hit TV Programme, “An Jig Gig,” Aindrias’s style and panache has seen the ratings soar. Born in Galway, his rich ‘n’ rare style of fiddle playing is as unique to the west of Ireland as is his story-telling, antics and his humour. He comes to the Irish Cultural Centre with his internationally acclaimed, award-winning ‘one-man show’- ‘The Man from Moogaga’, which tells a tale about Gaelic football, music, and finding your place in the world.

In this show de Staic can be seen in full ‘ Irish seanachaí’ mode, using his exquisite fiddle playing and displaying his mastery on the loop pedal. The result promises to be riotous affair, which celebrates the rhythms of small town life in rural Ireland, taking inspiration from Dylan Thomas, Flann O Brien and from Ireland’s great traditions of storytelling and music!. SIMPLY DO NOT MISS seeing this tremendous star!!

"His performance is half seanchaí, half shaman, half 'Fiddler of Dooney' with a whallop of Flann O’Brien thrown into the mix for good measure’
