Nobel Prize Winner, Seamus Heaney, has been said to be the most significant Irish poet since W.B. Yeats. His work spans 13 collections of poetry and transitions, 2 plays and 4 books on the composition of poetry. On this course, Nathaniel McAuley, will explore a selection of the works of Heaney each week, using them as a springboard to direct students' own creative output.
Each class will be two hours long - 55 minutes for poetry analysis, a 10 minute comfort break, and 55 minutes for workshopping students work.
