Music: Brian Finnegan at the ICC

Today we bring you a moment of Irish musical magic, a clip from a concert at the ICC back in 2002, starring the riveting flute and whistle player Brian Finnegan, who many of you will know is a member of the award winning band Flook.

Flook are renowned for their thrilling live performances and from this little clip of Brian playing whistle, it ‘s so easy to understand why. Flook played their first ever gig at the Irish Cultural Centre in 1998 and since then they have gone on to play festivals and stadiums around the world. In 2008 they won ‘Best Band’ at the ‘BBC Folk Awards’.

Flook were due to play the ICC in June this year, but the concert has now been postponed until 2021 – so while you wait, watch this clip of Brian playing; the sheer joy this will give you will be unmeasurable. Brian appears here with his friends guitarist Eamon McElholme and Jim Goodwin on drums. Enjoy!!!
