Last week we brought you a powerful photograph which Ireland’s great photographer Paddy Jordantook at the Ennistymon Horse Fairin County Clare. This week we bring you another sublimely stunning photograph, ‘The Road To Nowhere’, which Paddy took in County Waterford.  Here is what he says about his image..

“This was taken in beautiful west Waterford which is my home county. Every year at Christmas time I try to climb to Crotty’s lake in the Comeragh mountains. The lake is named after a notorious 18th century highway man who is reputed to have had his lair in the mountains, the area is famous for being the place where Stanley Kubrick’s film ‘Barry Lyndon’ was shot in 1975”.   PADDY JORDAN
