Music: Brendan Quinn

ICC Digital is delighted to bring you a special song and greeting, all the way from the Wild Atlantic Coast in North Donegal, sung by one of Ireland’s best loved Country Singers, the legendary Brendan Quinn

Brendan sings us his self-penned song “The Cold and Lonely streets of London” from his studio full of music and his guitars.  Listening to this, you will without doubt be struck by the power of his voice and you’ll be moved by this song, which speaks to us so movingly and so deeply in this moment in time.

A true star of  the Irish Country music scene, Brendan Quinn has recorded more than 11 studio albums and has appeared at many of the world’s top country music festivals. He’s shared stages with Country legends Merle Haggard, George Jones, Don Williams, Gene Watson and Hal Ketchum, he’s had many ‘number 1 Hits’ and he’s recorded with the greats in Irish music, including the late great Arty McGlynn and Henry McCullough.

Brendan started out in the music business over 60 Years ago, at the age of 15, playing with the  ‘The Malachi Doris Ceili Band’ and with many great Irish showbands and he is still going strong today!

This weekend Brendan will be releasing his new single “Will We Ever Be Free”. We will play it for you here on ICC Digital on Sunday (20/09/20), but right now listen to this message and beautiful song from the illustrious Brendan Quinn.. Enjoy!
