This is the fourth episode of ‘Bright Side Of The Road’, recorded at the Irish Cultural Centre in Hammersmith, London.

Henry Scott Irvine presents the weekly Irish music and arts show, with special guests, the ICC’s Cultural Director, Rosalind Scanlon and Film-maker Sé Merry Doyle, who directed the series of 14 lockdown concerts, “The ICC Seisiúns”.

This week’s show focuses on the Irish fiddle and showcases an amazing duo who appeared in ‘The ICC Seisiúns’, the awesome Irish fiddle player James Patrick Gavin with double bass player Tim Fairhall, who together break boundaries by fusing Irish Trad with ambient Jazz creating a unique and original sound.

The show also includes classic tracks from The Pogues, The Gloaming, Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh, J Eoin, Mary Black, Dick Gaughan and The Waterboys.
