Andy Martyn, Gino Lupari, John Carty & Matt Griffin

Join four of the finest virtuoso performers in Irish traditional music!

Four of the finest virtuoso performers in Irish traditional music today come together to celebrate the 2022 release of Andy Martyn’s album Will We Give it a Go? Combining his own compositions with other Irish traditional music arrangements, in collaboration with a stellar line-up of musicians.

Andy Martyn (Le Cheile, Alias Ron Kavana) is a London Irish virtuoso of the button accordion whose distinctive style and mix of music is heavily influenced by his East Galway family and by the many musicians with whom he has gained renown through musical collaborations

John Carty (Patrick Street, At The Racket) is one of Ireland’s finest traditional musicians and, having developed his mastery of the fiddle, banjo and flute, has been awarded TG4’s Traditional Musician of the Year and produced a number of albums that have been described as milestones in Irish traditional music, including The Wavy Bow Collection with James Carty released in 2020.

Gino Lupari (Four Men And A Dog) is one of the most loved and respected bodhran players and singers on the road today and has performed all over the world as a founding member of the internationally acclaimed band Four Men & A Dog.

Matt Griffin is a highly talented multi-instrumentalist based on Kerry’s Dingle Peninsula. He learned much of his music within the vibrant Irish traditional music community in London and has since immersed himself in both the music of Sliabh Luachra and West Kerry and the guitar stylings of Arty McGlynn and Steve Cooney.

These humble masters of their art bring together well over 100 years of collective acclaim in Irish traditional music and a great night of music and song is in store in celebration of a landmark recording of Irish music in London.
