Farrell is a graduate in architecture from Queen’s University Belfast where she conducted research into soundscapes in Irish music as part of her Masters programme. A regular public performer on the pipes, Farrell features on Na Piobairi Uilleann albums The Rolling Wave, A New Generation of Uilleann Pipers and Mná Na bPíob Uilleann:Vol.1.
