Comhaltas in Britain – London and Southern Region: The Reunion Concert

It’s been far too long since we were together enjoying music and the craic. This is an opportunity to meet up with old friends and make new ones.

We would like to thank our sponsors at the Emigrant Support Programme, for making this possible:

Sun 12 June 2022

Doors 2pm, Starts 3pm.

Tickets: £10, £5, & free

The reunion concert includes;

  • each branch will deliver a session for about 20 minutes preceded by a brief branch update.
  • Mid way a story and after all the branches have performed there will be a raffle.
  • At the end there will be a final ensemble session from all branches.

In 2019 there was a regional and All Britain fleadh celebrating Irish music and culture. Due to the Pandemic our activities were limited in 2020 and 2021.

On Sunday 8th May we returned to a full regional fleadh at Salvatorian college and there was a positive energy at the venue. There was great talent on display in the various competitions and the grupa cheoil competitions showcased Irish music to a very high standard.

Many musicians who entered the regional fleadh are looking forward to the All Britain fleadh to be held at Brunel University on the 25th and 26th June.
