FAULT LINES (Mental Health through the lens of Male Suicide)

A night of art, music and performances to open a special new exhibition by Damien McGinley; featuring the broadcaster Fergal Keane, Ri Rua, Peter Coughlan and more

FAULT LINES is an exhibition of original art by Damien McGinley which focuses on the issue of male suicide.

It features 13 original oil paintings of icons who took their own lives. From Van Gogh and Hemingway to Kurt Cobain and Keith Flint, the collection runs the spectrum of masculinity from macho to maestro.

The Exhibition runs from 22nd Jan – 17 April 2026, at the Irish Cultural Centre (ICC) in Hammersmith (5 Black’s Road, Hammersmith, London W6 9DT) and is free for the public with a suggested donation of £14 (for the 14 men who die every day by suicide in the UK). The Official launch event FNL Vol 5 – FAULT LINES is on 5th Feb with tickets priced at £14.

The projects focus is quite simple. To increase dialogue about men’s mental health. If we can manage that, who knows how many lines we can cross.

“CLOCHA GEALA” by Sheila Moylan

Irish artist, harpist, and singer Sheila Moylan presents a solo exhibition of drawing and sculpture at the Irish Cultural Centre Hammersmith. Titled “bright stones”—the Irish word for quartz—the exhibition draws inspiration from the ancient monument of Newgrange in Co. Meath. Sheila's figures, crafted from wire, charcoal, pencil, and ink, transport us to a long-lost world inhabited by shape-shifters, gods, goddesses, and time travellers.
