About IMLÉ

IMLÉ are a collective of musicians under the stewardship of Dublin-based musician and producer Cian Mac Cárthaigh. IMLÉ mix different musical styles  together in a way that has never been heard before in the Irish language musical sphere. They have released two albums so far, their self-titled debut in 2016 and FÁILTE ISTEACH in 2022.

IMLÉ have just released a new single entitled SLÁINTE featuring Dublin hip-hop artist James Shannon and Conamara singer Róisín Seoighe. New singles are coming in October 2025 followed by an EP in early 2025. The group recently had two versions of their song PEACACH used as the main title music in the international Netflix series BODKIN.

The current IMLÉ line-up features Cian Mac Cárthaigh, multi-instrumentalist Neil Ó Briain and singers/rappers Róisín Seoighe and James Shannon.

Róisín Seoighe is a musician and singer from Connemara. Her music ranges from pop and folk to traditional music. Róisín began her musical journey as a sean-nós singer. She has worked with popular artists such as Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh and John Spillane. With IMLÉ she has performed many of their most popular tracks such as ÉAD and Do Chuid Jeans.

James Shannon is a rapper/singer/producer from Blanchardstown in Dublin, Ireland. Specialising in alternative hip-hop and R&b, his music features catchy hooks, story-telling lyrics and tuneful melodies. He began making waves in the Irish hip-hop scene in 2022 headlining and selling out many of the cities main venues alongside frequent collaborator Noremac. Since then, he has released singles as a solo artist including “Where The Lights Are Bright” featuring Conor Eiffe, and “Tough Lovin’ Dublin”. He  began to collaborate with ‘Imlé’ in 2024, performing a remix of the song ‘Cathain A D’Fhill Tú ó Shasana’ on Ireland AM followed by the release of the single SLÁINTE.

About FYNCH

As Irish hip-hop continues to blossom with each passing year, artists like Fynch are beginning to come to the fore for national and international audiences. Combining cutting social commentary with self-deprecation and a healthy dose of braggadocio via obscure footballer references, FYNCH is an Irish hip-hop artist whose star is steadily rising.

FYNCH has been releasing music since mid-2017, taking inspiration from a variety of Irish and international artists including The Streets, Republic Of Loose, Kendrick Lamar and Outkast. FYNCH co-founded the record label Burner Records in 2018 alongside ARBU, Local Boy, Marcus Woods and Muttonhead.

The Drimnagh rapper released his first EP – Bookies Pens & Loose Ends – in October 2019 to acclaim. Since then, Fynch has had a consistent release schedule, collaborating with the likes of Local Boy, 49th & Main, Gaptoof and Willhouse.

2023 saw the return of the Drimnagh MC, with the release of singles ‘Ceilings’, ‘Now Do A Silly One!’, ‘Main Road Woes’ as well as ‘Uncut Gems’, a collaboration with Odd Numbers.

Fynch’s debut album ‘Youngfella’ was released to acclaim on March 1st 2024 and he featured at Ireland Music Week in October 2024, where he was selected by Dermot Kennedy to play at MISNEACH Festival for St Patrick’s Day 2025 in Boston and Sydney.
