The album has received much acclaim and accolades including Album of the Week on BBC Radio London and Rough Trade’s New Rising Artist. A star across the Emerald Isle with a sizeable following in the US, and a voice that combines pure and sweet with powerful and husky with more than a hint in both sound and sass of Stevie Nicks, Joni Mitchell and Alison Krauss, we are delighted to welcome Lisa Lambe to the ICC this December.

Lisa has just completed writing and recording her brand new and third album, ‘Wild Red’ due for release in November 2021. The project was written and recorded in West Cork and will feature in the set list of this special night of music.

On radio and television Lisa works often with RTÉ and TG4. Performing regularly at home with RTÉ Concert Orchestra and internationally with different bands and orchestras in global venues including Irish Arts Centre in New York, London and Paris, Glastonbury,New York, Vicar Street Dublin, Trafalgar Square London, Whelans Dublin, Electric Ballroom Camden, Sitges Spain, Hotel Café, LA California, Evening Muse Charlotte USA, Eddie’s Attic Atlanta Georgia and Ireland’s internationally acclaimed Galway Arts Festival. She performed in 2020 at the Royal Concert Hall Glasgow for Celtic Connections, and at Tradfest Dublin to sold out audiences. Her music was featured recently on the Iain Anderson show BBC Radio Scotland. She has recently collaborated and performed with Irish artists including Paul Brady, Martin Hayes, Glen Hansard, Paul Muldoon, Steve Wickham, Ray Harmon, John Sheahan, Josh Ritter, Damien Dempsey, Duach, Gabe Dixon, Damien Dempsey, Eddi Reader, Declan O’Rourke to name but a few.

Lisa’s first solo album ‘Hiding Away’ was recorded in Nashville to great critical acclaim in the USA and in Ireland, The Independent describing her voice as “Norah Jones meets Alison Krauss’. Juniper was album on the week on BBC Radio and was Rough Trade’s NewRising Artist pick. Her songs are beautifully crafted and strikingly evocative, and her songwriting showcases not just an outstanding singer and songwriter but a superlative musician.

Lisa will be joined by stellar musicians John McLoughlin (Damien Dempsey, Sean Keane, Mary Coughlan) Seán Regan (Michael McGoldrick, Sharon Shannon, Finbar Furey) and Wayne Sheehy (Ronnie Wood, Robert Palmer, Damien Dempsey) for a very special night of music.
