A dynamic showcase of ten-minute plays spanning comedy, tragedy, and the wonderfully surreal
A weekend showcase of new drama by ICC playwrights on Saturday 7 February and Sunday 8 February 2026.
Curated by ICC resident playwright, Conor Montague, and produced in collaboration with a talented bunch of London-based actors and directors, LITTLE GEMS presents an eclectic programme of 10 min plays by Geeta Sanker, Kieran Kelliher, Margaret Rochford, Veronica Flanagan, Hugh Muckian, Francis O’Flynn, Carolyn Lyster, Sue Olney and Aifric Henry-Bruen.
Irish pubs to English convents, hospitals to haunted houses, blind dates to broken marriages An intoxicating blend of comedic, tragic, disturbing and surreal, LITTLE GEMS is always a highlight of the ICC theatre programme. Early booking advised.

Cherry Smyth: One Mountain: Sold
Irish poet, Cherry Smyth, presents One Mountain: Sold, a poetry and music performance of 65 minutes, that responds to a proposed gold mine that threatens to destroy an area of outstanding beauty in the Sperrins, Co. Tyrone. One Mountain: Sold laments the irrevocable damage caused by unchecked extractivism and vividly portrays resistance by local people. The piece also examines the relationship between colonial violence and ecological breakdown. She will be accompanied by award-winning Irish vocalist Lauren Kinsella and a soundscape by Dan Nicholls.
