 New Album  Launch ‘Lighthouse Keeper

It has been over 12 years since Don Mescall’s debut album “Innocent Run” was released by US label Curb Records. Now, the Limerick born and raised internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter comes to the Irish Cultural Centre, with his band, to release his brand new album, ‘The Lighthouse Keeper’’( AGR T.V. Records.)

As a songwriter, Mescall’s songs have featured on albums with sales of over 12 million worldwide and have received in excess of 18 million hits on You Tube. His songs have been recorded by artists including US Country superstars Rascal Flatts, Backstreet Boys, Lonestar, Geri Halliwell, Sharon Corr, Ronan Keating, Celtic Thunder, American Idol’s Clay Aiken and Theo Thams, Aslan, Frances Black , Brian Kennedy , French Canadian artist Garou, US Country star Neal McCoy, Westlife, Boyzone, the legendary Richie Havens (Woodstock) , Eleanor Shanley , Lulu , Red Hurley , The Three Amigo’s,  The High Kings, and many more. Don also co-wrote the last three number one hits for top Irish country artist, Nathan Carter.

Besides his songwriting and producing, Don’s loves performing live, both solo and with his band. He regularly tours in Ireland, United Kingdom, Europe, and the USA. In 2017 he was awarded the prestigious ‘Songwriter of the Year’ at the IPCMA’S, which was followed  by a ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ from The Irish World. Most recently he was acclaimed as the ‘International Songwriter of the Year’ at the Hot Country T.V. Awards 2018.

Don comes to The Irish Cultural Centre  with his band which features Alessio Povolo (on bass),  Andrea Granite (piano),  Daniele Russo (percussion), Alice Marras (backing vocals), and James Shannon (acoustic guitar). Don will also be playing acoustic guitar, harmonica, and mandolin.
