Expect a superb evening from three of the world’s most amazing Celtic folk-trad musicians. Master flute, whistle, and uilleann piper, Michael McGoldrick, (founder member of the bands ‘Flook’, ‘Lunasa’, ‘Capercaillie’ and currently a member of the Irish Super-group ‘Ushers Island’), is acclaimed throughout the world as one of the most exciting live players you are ever likely to see; a BBC 2 Folk award winner, he has worked with John Cale, Sharron Shannon and Eddi Reader. Joining him will be the brilliant filddle player John McCusker, whose playing has earned him a worldwide reputation as one of the most gifted and versatile musicians of any genre. He has played with  ‘The Battlefield Band’,  Bob Dylan and Paul Weller; playing alongside them will be the great guitarist and vocalist John Doyle, founder of the Irish American band ‘Solas’ he has played with artists such as  Joan Baez, Linda Thompson and Mary Chapin Carpenter.Mike McGoldrick and John McCusker have bothtoured with Mark Knopfler,  and all three are regulars on the BBC’s acclaimed ‘Transatlantic Sessions.’
