“Our Brothers In Cloth”

A Rehearsed Playreading of a New Play, Written by Ronan Colfer

Bunderr, rural Ireland, 1995.

When a young man takes his own life (the second in almost a year), his brother, Alan, comes to realise the connection between his brother’s suicide and the one before it; they both served as altar boys for the local church.

This brings Alan to start looking into the possibility that his brother’s death wasn’t merely caused by feelings of depression alone, but may have something to do with the previous parish priest…

Playwright Ronan Colfer brings this rehearsed reading of his new play “Our Brothers In Cloth” to the ICC, in advance of its full production at The Cockpit Theatre (Aug 5th – Aug 7th 6.30pm). The play is based on true events; but is a fictional story with fictional characters, based in a fictional town. The play reading is produced and presented by Ronan Colfer.
