The maverick poet and singer-songwriter Peter Doolan who was born and raised in County Tipperary and has been based in London since 2006, is coming to the ICC to launch his brand new album, 'I am a Tree, Rooted to the Spot and a Snake Moves Around me, in a Circle'

What People are saying about Peter Doolan…

“Brimming with youth, pouring with age, his voice appears older than the face that frames it” International Times

“An explosive passion for punk and riotous folk with a spell-binging poetic undertow”
Gigslutz

“Rich and imaginative lyrics, with full-throttle alt-rock – Peter is an awesome fast-
rising Irish star to look out for”!! Portobelllo Radio

“Someone who will surely be making an indelible mark on the music scene this year”
Subba-Cultcha.

“With poems sculpted from the frustration of the outsider looking in, steeped in the
everyday rejection which most of us feel, something thrilling is born”

The opening act for Peter Doolan and & The St. Valentine’s Day Massacres will be
“The Yes Mess”. The Yes Mess will smother you with fanciful incantations that will
let your inner animal out. Joyful and damaged, the vocal combinations live to
tell the tale, harmonising and winning.
