The maverick poet and singer-songwriter Peter Doolan who was born and raised in County Tipperary and has been based in London since 2006, is coming to the ICC to launch his brand new album, 'I am a Tree, Rooted to the Spot and a Snake Moves Around me, in a Circle'
His previous releases include ‘Modern Bombs Don’t Tick’ (2020), ‘The Rise & Fall of Western Civilisation, Modern Politics & Tipperary Hurling Pts 1 & 2’, (2022)
For this new album launch Peter will perform live with a backing band, The St. Valentine’s Day Massacres. His musical output is rich and dynamic alternative rock, which incorporates indie, punk and folk music. He is also the author of the poetry collection, “Collective Living in the Singular Age” (2019), and he has an upcoming collection due to be released later this year.
