Sinéad Willox Album Launch: Seoda Uladh
Join us to celebrate the newest album from Sinéad Willox, Seoda Uladh and a night of incredible music at the Irish Cultural Centre.
About the Album:
‘Seoda Uladh’ (Jewels of Ulster) reimagines lesser-known traditional Ulster songs in both Irish and English, with one song representing each of the nine counties and an additional track” for good luck”. The collection reflects the cultural traditions, history, and shared heritage of Ulster through music, song and story.
Each song begins with a place, a memory, a story, a piece of home and the journeys that reflect and shape us. The handpicked collection highlights how song and story are inextricably linked and can connect us to that place we call home, no matter where we are in the world!
Fans of Cara Dillon, Pauline Scanlon, Ríoghnach Connolly and Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh connect with Sinéad’s heartfelt vocal delivery, rich arrangements, and deep connection to place, belonging and tradition.
The project began in 2023 and features some of Ireland’s finest musicians; Seán Óg Graham, Seamie O’Dowd, Cathal Hayden, David Bell, Rory Madden, Colin Henry, Kieran Leonard, Pádraig McGovern, Conor Crimmins and showcases the stunning vocals of: Daniel Donnelly, Karen Kirby, Helen Cassidy and Eva McRory.
Inspired by themes of home, heritage, and the voices that shaped us. Sinead’s hope is that you find some Jewels in the tracks.

In 2024, she featured on the BBC Northern Ireland documentary Talkin’ Tay with her rendition of Auld Lang Syne.
She is also a founding member of Copper Rose, a progressive five-piece folk band formed in 2023. Their debut single ‘Feet of a Dancer’ was released in January 2024.
Most recently, Sinéad has recorded her debut solo album ‘Seoda Uladh’ (Jewels of Ulster), co-produced by Seán Óg Graham (Beoga) and released on 11th November 2025. To mark the release, Sinéad will tour all nine counties of Ulster from February 2026 onwards.
