St. Patrick’s Day: Some One’s Sons

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day 2026 at the Irish Cultural Centre Hammersmith with the band Some One's Sons

Some One’s Sons are a dynamic and evocative five-piece Irish folk band, carving out a unique place in Ireland’s folk scene. Their music is a vibrant mix of spirited storytelling and powerful performances, blending traditional roots with a modern edge.

With a sound that is both timeless and true to the music that shaped them, the Sons’ original ballads and fresh takes on traditional tunes captivate audiences and leave a lasting impression.

Some One’s Sons are off the back sold out performances in Liverpool, London and Dublin, along with a summer tour that included two performances at Galway Folk Fest, headlining the Friday night gig rig at Fleadh Cheoil, and three shows at Electric Picnic. They are now embarking on a UK tour with their upcoming EP release, The Boom is Back. They have previously supported renowned acts including Sharon Shannon, Seán Keane, George Murphy, The Fureys and the Wolfe Tones

Some One’s Sons’ live performances are a whirlwind of energy, emotion, and authenticity, making them a must-see act for lovers of true Irish folk music.
