Workshop

WRITE, NOW! A Free Creative Writing Workshop with Poet and Playwright Damian Gorman

Have you ever had the urge to write, but lost it? Have you ever written, but set all your writing aside? Or are you simply a writer who could do with a few words of support and direction?

This short ‘free’ workshop is intended to be an encouragement to you if any of the above applies.

The final 15 minutes will be a reading from Damian’s own writing – including new work.

DAMIAN GORMAN is a poet and playwright with well over 30 years experience in encouraging writing in others. He is currently working on a new theatre piece with Kerry-born uilleann piper LEONARD BARRY. His last major theatre work was BEYOND BELIEF, (with Brian O’Doherty and Kieran Griffiths), a musical drama about the lives of John and Pat Hume which had a sell-out run in Derry’s Guildhall, and was chosen by the Guardian and Observer as one of the 5 best shows of the year.

Damian is a Fellow of the Oxford Initiative for Global Ethics and Human Rights.

We strongly advise to book early for this workshop as there are limited places for this workshop.
