Tune into Dublin’s Near FM 90.3 on Wednesday June 9th at 11.30pm to hear another episode of ‘Bright Side Of The Road’ recorded at The Irish Cultural Centre in Hammersmith, London.

This week’s show focuses on operatic songs and features the extraordinary, Irish born mezzo-soprano, Carolyn Holt, who appeared in the film series “The ICC Seisiúns”.

Carolyn has won many awards, including the prestigious ‘John McCormack Bursary’ and the ‘Inaugural Irish Heritage Bursary’.

In this show Carolyn will sing compositions by Rossini and Strauss and there will also be tracks from John McCormack and Frank Patterson.

Henry Scott Irvine presents the weekly Irish music and arts show, with special guests, the ICC’s Cultural Director, Rosalind Scanlon and Dublin’s Film-maker Sé Merry Doyle, who recently directed the series of 14 lockdown concerts, “The ICC Seisiúns”.

Bright Side of The Road’ is on Dublin’s Near FM 90.3 every Wednesday at 11.30pm.
