Act 1: Bog Bodies

A new Irish musical by Colm Molloy.

Bog Bodies is a new musical based on Máirtín Ó Cadhain’s novel Cré na Cille. It follows the story of corpses in their coffins in a cemetery in Connemara.

Imagine ‘Follies’ meets ‘Real Housewives.’ Meet Caitríona as we discover her quest for revenge beyond the grave. I bet you never realised there’s such a backstabbing, bitching community underground!

Act 2: Shauna Carrick Wants A Dog

A new Irish musical with book by Conor O’Rourke and music and lyrics by Shauna Carrick.

An original musical comedy about life, love, and wanting a dog. We follow Shauna as she tackles her inner demons and embarks on a quest to take control of her own life, whilst making some very necessary detours for hot chocolate along the way!

Beyond The Wesht End showcases six brand new musicals in varying stages of development. These shows are a work in progress.

TW: Bog Bodies: Explicit language, references to death.

Shauna Carrick Wants a Dog: Contains reference to mental health and anxiety.
