Gary McKeone

Gary McKeone was Literature Director at Arts Council England from 1995-2006. Before that he worked with Field Day Theatre Company in Ireland and at the Royal Festival Hall on London’s South Bank. Originally from Derry, N.Ireland, he was educated at St Columb’s College and Trinity College Dublin. Gary is currently Warden at St George’s House, Windsor Castle

Gary Wade

Gary Wade holds an adjunct role at the University of Notre Dame Australia. He is the author ofSeamus Heaney and Catholicism(CUP 2025) and is currently working onThe Cambridge Introduction to Seamus Heaney. He is one of forty-eight contributors toThe Cambridge History of Irish Poetry, which will be released on 31 October 2026. He was educated at St Columb’s College, Derry, and holds a PhD from Durham University.
