12th October 2021, 12am

On Saturday September 4th 2021, after being closed, due to lockdown, for a long, drawn out 18 months, the ICC re-kick started it’s vibrant live Irish music programme, with a phenomenal concert by the award winning band FLOOK!

With a jam-packed audience of 200 people, seated in the ICC’s newly upgraded auditorium, an astounding, awe-inspiring and heart lifting night was had by all! – and there was no better band to bring the hope, the breath and the life back into the space!

Yes, Flook was the first band to step back up onto the ICC’s stage after the long lockdown – but ironically, just 25 years ago It was on the ICC ‘s stage that this astonishing quartet played their very first gig!

Flook have played at the ICC many, many times over the past 25 years and we were delighted to present them once again; and now we are also so thrilled to bring you the premiere of this short film of some highlights from their extraordinary ‘re-launch concert’. Directed by Ireland’s acclaimed film-maker Sé Merry Doyle, this film also features an interview with Brian and Sarah from Flook!

Acclaimed across the globe and twice winners of the prestigious ‘BCC Folk Award’, FLOOK are Brian Finnegan, Sarah Allen, Ed Boyd and John Joe Kelly!!  Now sit back and enjoy this film!
