OIDEACHAS:

An Ghaeilge

Tá an ICC ina bhall de tionscnamh forbairt na Gaeilge. Tagann tacaíocht ón Roinn Ealaíon, Oidreachta, Gnóthaí Réigiúnacha, Tuaithe agus Gaeltachta. I mbliana, cuirtear ár ranganna Gaeilge ar fáil i gcomhoibriú leis Institiúid an Léinn Éireannaigh ó Ollscoil Learphoill.

Ceiliúrann ár ranganna áilleacht na Gaeilge, agus is í aidhm na ranga ná chun scileanna teanga na daltaí a fhorbairt. Baintear amach an aidhm seo as ucht ardú tuisceana ó thaobh an gramadaí agus an foclóra de. Déanann muid gach iarracht chun a chinntiú go mbaineann na daltaí sult as an eispéireas foghlama, ach ní thagann dul chun cinn ach nuair a dhéanann daltaí sár-iarracht chun an Ghaeilge a fhoghlaim. Tá tinreamh rialta éigeantach, agus beidh ort féin-staidéar a dhéanamh taobh amuigh de na ranganna, mar shampla, ag cleachtadh léitheoireachta, srl.

Gach bliain, is féidir le daltaí freastal ar ár turas fóirdheontais go dtí an Daingean i gCo Ciarraí. Ar an turas, glacann na daltaí páirt i ranganna Gaeilge, gníomhartha cultúrtha agus taiscéal den oidhreacht áitiúil. Tá na spásanna teoranta ar an turas agus beidh ar na daltaí costas beag a íoc freisin.
