Concert – Tim Logue

4th July 2021, 12am

ICC Digital is so proud to present this concert from our film series “The ICC Seisiúns’, featuring the gifted contemporary singer songwriter Tim Logue, who possesses a mesmerising voice, which has beautiful, unique tonality and touches of both his Irish and London heritage.

Despite being originally born in Essex, Tim has gained an appreciation and understanding of Irish music, often playing and singing the songs of Ireland. Having learnt from the renowned guitar players Seamie O’Dowd, Steve Cooney and Mark Kelly, he has also gone on to support many leading Irish acts such as ‘Four Men and a Dog’, Dermot Byrne and Ciaran Tourish and he has played at the ICC several times.

Tim is not only a wonderful singer, but also a powerful and deeply touching songwriter, who injects traditional Irish songwriting and playing with his own unique tonality and contemporary style. Tim says that he draws inspiration from Van Morrison and John Martyn as well as contemporary artists such as Villagers and John Mayer.

In this 20 minute concert Tim performs a superb set of songs, including several which he penned himself, along with a great cover of the track ‘Ruby Rabiger’, written by James Riley.

We do hope you enjoy watching this concert by an original young musical artist who we truly believe has an amazing future.
