Interview:

Life in Lockdown – Dara Ó Briain

8th April 2021, 12am

The Irish Cultural Centre in Hammersmith is pleased to present the final interview in our mini-series “Life in Lockdown”. Joining resident ICC interviewer, Anne Flaherty, is stand-up comedian, writer, presenter and ICC patron – Dara Ó Briain.

In addition to discussing his most recent book, Is There Anybody Out There? (2020), Dara’s conversation with Anne covers a wide range of topics: how he nearly didn’t make it home when the pandemic began, how the comedy circuit has changed in the past year, how he has spent lockdown, how Dara feels when he returns  to Ireland and much more in this energizing and thought-provoking interview.

The episode is available to watch now across our social media and website.  It can also be downloaded as a podcast on all major podcast apps.

This mini-series forms part of the Irish Cultural Centre’s 25th Anniversary Celebrations and launches the donation campaign to support our return following a year of lockdown. The ICC hopes to open its doors as quickly and as safely as possible when allowed to do so. All donations will assist us in continuing to deliver high quality content and in supporting our community for the future.

Please text ICC 5, ICC 10, or ICC 25 to 70450 to donate £5, £10, or £25. Or visit https://www.justgiving.com/irishculturalcentrelondon to donate online.
