“CLOCHA GEALA” by Sheila Moylan
Irish artist, harpist and singer Sheila Moylan presents a solo exhibition of drawings and sculpture at the Irish Cultural Centre, Hammersmith. Titled “Bright Stones” (the Irish word for quartz), the exhibition is inspired by the ancient monument of Newgrange in Co. Meath. Her work, created in wire, charcoal, pencil and ink, evokes a mythical world of gods, goddesses, shape-shifters and time travellers.
