Spend an evening with Úna Gan A Gúna to take a look at the woman behind the saint, hear from ‘St Brigid’, and learn more about uncovering women’s stories in the modern day. We are an Irish, feminist collective dedicated to ensuring that the memories, experiences, and lives of Irish women are documented and preserved. We believe in capturing the breadth of Irish women’s experiences, from saint to sinner, student to sage, home-maker to office worker. Ireland’s history has traditionally focused on the lives of men, we are determined to make it richer and fuller by including women’s stories. Whether you’re near or far from home, your story is part of the history of Ireland and we would love to record it.

Ticket Donations to Úna Gan a Gúna will support and enable the collective to gather and share the stories of Irish and diaspora women and preserve them for future generations. Your contribution could:

• Fund essential equipment like recorders and microphones
• Train volunteers to record and archive oral histories

About the Irish Cultural Centre:
The ICC opened its doors in 1995 as the premiere Irish Centre dedicated to arts and culture in the UK. In 2017 the ICC completed a major rebuilding project and welcomed people back into a state of the art building with auditorium, meeting rooms, and educational facilities.
