The Irish Cultural Centre, Hammersmith is a charity organisation dedicated to showcasing the best of Irish Culture to the UK, supporting our diaspora, increasing educational outreach within Irish cultural practices, and strengthening our community links.
The ICC opened its doors in 1995 as the premiere centre in the UK dedicated to the promotion and welfare of Irish art and culture abroad. The ICC welcomes and invites people of all backgrounds and cultures to participate in our 3 core activities: our culture, community, and education programmes. Ireland has an outstanding tradition of music, literature, art and culture. Having a prestigious cultural centre dedicated to this in London has and is benefitting the artistic, cultural and economic links between Ireland and Britain.
This building will be held in trust for future generations of Irish people in Ireland and Britain.
