Steo Wall:

Steo Wall is a singer song writer from Dublin Ireland, who now lives in County Clare on the west coast. In 2018 he released his critically acclaimed debut album, Where I’m From. The album boasts 11 heart felt tracks, taking the listener on a journey from Dublins bad land, council estates to the majesty of Ireland’s beautiful west coast. The album is a mix of spoken word and folk inspired melodies all woven to an acoustic groove. Featuring Irish folk legends, Davy Spillane, Luka Bloom and Damien Dempsey, Where I’m From is like a burst of colour on a monochrome landscape. “A pioneering new voice in Irish folk music” Hot Press Magazine 2018.

Rosa Theodora:

Rosa Theodora is an emerging artist from South London interested in keyboard-centred sounds that liberate, disrupt and empower. She wrote her forthcoming debut EP while participating in Tour de Moon’s Music Incubator Programme where she began to explore music that weaves theories of liberation and radical dreaming into sonic textures and presents them in an other-worldly, jazz-influenced meditation. Motivated by the revolutionary potential of music to disrupt, transcend and empower, Rosa’s music dreams of rupturing knowledge as we know it, and forging wild new languages to dance us into a joyful utopia.

From a young age, Rosa has played a plethora of instruments and genres, and this fluidity flows into her music. From playing synth in in psych-pop bands Noon Garden and Ello Sun, to co-founding punk-UKG marimba duo Existential Dress, Rosa’s dance between genres rings out in her music, which cites a wide range of influences, from Sun Ra and Alice Coltrane to the likes of X-Ray Spex and Harold Budd. Her forthcoming EP riffs off of much of the deep study she undertook while participating in the course Rhythm, Race, Revolution. Ideas of revolution(s), the chorus, as well as urban life and gentrification were all key in influencing this sonic landscape of this record. Building off improvisations, the EP reaches for new modes of being and dances away from embedded languages, ideas and possibilities that are tied to earth, instead seeking new heights and possibilities in worlds known only to our subconscious. Celestial dreaming dances through grooves that require our souls to dance, run, scream, laugh, and love towards freedom.
