Paint the Town Green

A Community focused documentary looking at the Luton Irish Forum, the history of the Irish population of Luton, and the importance of the St Patrick’s Festival that brings the communities of Luton together in celebration of their diverse cultures. The Luton annual St Patrick’s Festival is now listed as one of the top 20 things to do in Bedfordshire and is in it’s 24th year.

Working with archive footage and interviews, we trace the festival from its humble beginnings, via the set backs caused by Covid, to the triumphant return of the festival in 2022. We are ably assisted by our junior stars who tell the story of St Patrick in their own unique and comical way.
