Genealogy Workshops
November: Thursdays 2-3pm – £3
Would you like to know more about your family history? John, our librarian, will get you started. He’ll explain what websites to use to begin the process of creating your family tree. He will show you how to access census records, church records, and, civil records online. John will simplify the process for you.
We are now fully booked for this course. However, we are due to run it again in the Spring. Please email your name and telephone number to [email protected] to register your interest. You will be put on a waiting list and contacted in due course.
Singing and
Reminiscing Group
Singing and Reminiscing is an open forum and drop in afternoon for our local community. The group, led by Anthony McGrath, is friendly and inclusive and requires nothing more than a willingness to chat about ‘the old days’ and sing a song or two in good company. The group performed this Christmas as part of Hammersmith and Fulham Christmas market and have had several public performances over the years!

Knit and Sit Group
Our ‘knit and sit’ group takes place every Tuesday from 2.00pm – 4.00pm. All are welcome to come along with their knitting or crochet to share some tips, have some tea and lots of chats!

Morning Yoga Flow
Accessible yoga practice suitable for all ages and stages!
Join us for a weekly morning stretch guided by Lumi Yoga instructors
- Wear comfortable clothing
- We will provide mats but please bring your own if you have!
- Chair yoga also facilitated
Free tea and coffee will be served after the class

Poetry, Reading and Reminiscing
This group welcomes anyone interested in poetry, reading and reminiscing.
Come along every Tuesday to engage with the written word in any way you like:
- Read a piece from your favourite poet or author
- Write/read a short story, poem or begin a novel
- Reminisce about past events
- Meet other like-minded people

Monthly Book Club
A club aimed at those who like to come together to share ideas and participate in lively discussions about Irish writing. Current members hail from all parts of Ireland (with a few exceptions who are second-generation Irish) and are from a wide variety of backgrounds.
Mondays, 7pm-8.30pm
Weekly Exercise Class
Every Monday we hold a “get moving” exercise class with Stay active events to help with mobility and strength issues. The class is run by the fantastic Aran Summers, who is sure to get you up and moving. After the class free tea and coffee is provided.

Monthly Tea Dance
The Tea Dances are a monthly community dance. They take place at the ICC on the third Thursday of every month. A high quality, live band plays a variety of music and the floor is packed with people dancing all afternoon. Tea/ coffee and cakes are served. Come along and join in the fun. Full Bar available!

Monthly Concert Recitals
With the help from Irish Heritage – the Irish Cultural Centre performs a monthly classical music recital to the community. The acts are part of Irish Heritage’s Classical music bursary awards and we are delighted to help showcase the talent to our audiences.

Men's Card Club
Fancy a game of cards, a cup of tea and a chance to spend time with likeminded people?
We offer a space for men to get together over a game of cards in our cozy foyer! try your hand at the traditional Irish card game 25s! All kinds of card games welcome!
Join us! You can decide the music you would like to accompany your experience.
Financial Literacy for Everyday Life
A four week money management and numeracy skills course. It will provide support with the cost of living crisis, empowering attendees with a better understanding of how to manage their finances and develop their numeracy skills for calculating changes in their own living situations.
