The Irish Cultural Centre is honoured to be supported by a number of Partners in our Fit-out Fundraising for the ultimate Irish Flagship home of Irish arts, heritage and culture in London.
This year we have been chosen as one of London Irish Rugby Club's 14/15 season charities. We have also been selected as the recipient of the West London Society Annual Dinner Dance fundraising.
London Irish (the Exiles) will work with us on a number of initiatives during the coming season to both raise funds and much needed awareness of the fundraising efforts and ongoing work of the ICC.
Chairman of the ICC, Jim O'hara said: "We are all delighted that London Irish has nominated us as one of their three charities this year and I am particularly delighted as it is a club with which I have had a long association. London Irish is one of the top clubs in Britain and its players and supporters have been coming to the Cultural Centre in Hammersmith for many years. Both organisations have a common interest in sustaining and promoting Irish culture and traditions in all their forms and our partnership together will enhance these common aims to our mutual advantage. Just as the rugby club begins a new period of its history with the recent move to its new ground in Hazelwood, so we look forward to moving into our new building next year and continuing its vital role in Irish culture in Britain."
London Irish Commercial Director Jim O’Toole said: “Working with three important partners fits perfectly with the Club’s Community Responsibility ethos. We believe that all three contribute to areas that touch our supporters’ lives and their broader communities. All three charities work tirelessly and with our support, we hope they can continue this vital work and increase the number of people they reach."
