Get ready to laugh, gasp, and perhaps let out a mighty cheer, as Come Here ‘Til I Tell Ya brings its widely popular storytelling shenanigans to the Irish Cultural Centre with its first ever family show – Tall Tales.
Listen closely as we transport you and your family into the myths and legends of Ireland where you’ll meet daring warriors, magical horses and even, a very clever salmon. But be ready as you may be called upon to become the heroes in these timeless tales and unlock your own adventurous spirit!
Hosted by Amy Fleming and featuring a glorious collection of Ireland’s best storytellers, this is sure to be a day you talk about around the dinner table for years!

Amy is an Irish born, award winning, multidisciplinary artist. She is currently an assistant producer at the National Theatre and an ensemble member of the Islington based theatre company, Degenerate Fox, as well as being an associate artist with The Lab Collective and 6Foot Stories. With over ten years experience in immersive and interactive performance, Amy thrives on involving the audience in the work she makes and proves an effortless and entertaining host.
Previous Credits Include: The Dirty Thirty (Degenerate Fox), Hamlet: Rotten States (6Foot Stories) A Wake In Progress (Fine Mess Theatre,Winner of the Edinburgh Three Weeks Editors Award), Vector (Lab Collective), One Under (Lab Collective), Gossip (Old Vic New Voices) and Breathing Corpses (crooked House Theatre Company).
Niamh Denyer
Niamh is an actor & writer originally from Sligo, Ireland. She brought her self penned show Get Blessed! To the Edinburgh Fringe Festival last summer, where it received many 4 and 5 star reviews & was nominated for an OFFfest Award from Off West End. It transferred to Pleasance Theatre London where it was filmed by Next Up Comedy. It will be available to watch as a Comedy Special on their streaming platform later this year. She has been the face of many Television Commercials, most notably she is the face of the Audible Comedy Campaign. She also recently filmed a guest role on BBC’s Casualty, which will air over the summer.
Fiona White
Fiona (she/her) is a director, writer and performer. She trained in Ireland in Directing for Theatre at the National University of Maynooth and was the co-founder of devise+conquer theatre company where she directed, wrote and produced a number of productions (A Marriage Proposal, Macabre Theft (after Macbeth), Merchant of Venice and Skullduggery). She came to London in 2015 and has performed in the Almeida (The Treatment) and the Young Vic (Suppliant Women). In 2018 she joined Yellow Coat Theatre as a performer and since 2019 has been a director, writer, performer and creative advisor for their Pass it On programme Fiona has also performed a number of pieces she’s written in four ‘Come Here ‘Til I Tell Ya’ events.

Beca Barton
Beca Barton is a queer actor and writer, currently based in East London. Originally from Ireland, they moved to London in 2018 and graduated from QMUL with a first-class degree in Drama in 2021. Recent credits include: Perverts (King’s Head Theatre), Stranger Things: The Experience (Troubadour Studios), and other short productions at venues such as the Arcola Theatre, Theatre503 and the Edinburgh Fringe.
Kelly Long
As a writer Kelly is interested in working fantastical genre and impactful, cinematic story-telling centred on human experience.
Work includes: ‘Harvest’ at the Omnibus Theatre, Engine Room, ‘Man among ye’ as part of ‘Rarely Pure & Never Simple’ with Thalia Theatre Co. at the Golden Goose Theatre, ‘Beattie’s Tree’ at the Rosemary Branch Theatre as part of ‘Samhain Stories’ and ‘Solar Butterflies’ as part of ‘Come Here Til I Tell Ya’ at the Irish Cultural Centre.
