The Whole Nine Yarns is a hybrid of poetry and comedy storytelling. O’Neill is an award winning writer and performer. Two Fringe Firsts at the Edinburgh Festival. Best Actor off Broadway Irish Festival. The New York Critics award for best play.

He has published three books of poetry, directed and written plays for the stage and screen. His short film The Basketcase won best short at the Boston and Chicago film festivals. In 2015 he adapted The Shawshank Redemption for the stage, which toured across Britain, Australia and North America.
