Luke White:

Luke White is a singer-songwriter whose guitar-based music and heartfelt words mirror his influences John Mayer, Dermot Kennedy, Ben Howard, Tracy Chapman, Damien Rice, and James Blunt.

Luke surprisingly started as a blues and rock guitarist and transferred to the songwriting world at 16! After getting a break-up message, he thought he’d try to write a song which he now describes as “wet and sad”…he never looked back. He has been writing and releasing music since 2018, has gigged all over the UK playing his shows, and has supported artists such as Billy Lockett.

Luke has had support from radio stations such as BBC Introducing and Soho Radio. Luke also enjoys writing for other artists and TV. For example, he worked on a folk project with Universal’s major label. He has multiple plans for releasing over the coming months in 2022/23 and can’t wait for all the songs that are due to come out!

Tom Arnold

Tom Arnold is a composer, songwriter and producer, currently in his 3rd year at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, studying Electronic Music – Film Music.

He has written large scale orchestral works for various projects including the Illuminated River Project and Derry Halloween Festival, and has collaborated on multiple short films with directors from the London Film Academy, MET Film School and the Maryland Institute College of Art.

Tom started the piano at the age of 8, performing in multiple ensembles and bands along the way, and is very excited to be performing with Luke once again!

Scoth

Scoth; Evan Flaherty and Darragh Purcell, are musical storytellers, who write intensely personal explorations of love, loss and grief. Their personal mythology provides a leaping point from which they attempt to make sense and meaning of the world – creating some truly universal music in the process.

Their unique brand of ethereal folk combines traditional elements with lush production and other-worldy harmonies (akin to Bon Iver and Fleet Foxes).

Their vast array of influences range from the stripped down folk of Nick Drake and early Sufjan Stevens, to the psychedelic sounds of The Beach Boys and Animal Collective.

Glór Nua roughly translates as New Voices in Irish Gaelic.

We are providing a platform for a variety of new artists to perform and be discovered, uniting talented contemporary musical artists from London and Ireland and immersing audiences in the sounds that keep the city and the emerald isle moving and grooving.

Glór Nua is for all music genres, cultures and backgrounds, celebrating diverse styles and personalities, featuring exciting emerging artists from Ireland and London.

We know that people and musical self expression comes in all shapes and sizes and can’t always be put in a box, so why would we? Instead, we are putting it on stage here at the ICC.

If you are a music artist and would like to perform on one of the nights, please get in touch with samples of your music. We will be accepting new artist submissions on a rolling basis.
