Limerick Underground Music Festival Féile Na Gréine will be taking over Glór Nua for a special night of Indie Artists!

Thu 14 March - Thu 14 March 2024

7:30pm

Tickets: £5/£15

Since its founding in 2018, Féile Na Gréine is a volunteer organisation that places a  spotlight on music communities in Limerick City. Composed of musicians, designers,  photographers, and other creative practitioners, Féile na Gréine began as a yearly music  festival and continues to build a national reputation for championing Ireland’s emerging  and experimental musical talent, while holding up Limerick City as a significant destination within Ireland’s cultural landscape. The organisation’s operations are guided by strong held beliefs in DIY culture, grassroots connections and inclusivity within the arts. As Féile Na  Gréine has grown, so has its creative output, which now include, filmmaking and publications, all of which embody fierce DIY approach.

They are collaborating with the ICC’s in house contemporary music night Glór Nua to bring the sounds of Limerick City to the heart of West London for a big St. Patrick’s Celebration and everyone is invited!

Scroll down to check out what musicians will be playing!

His Father’s Voice

Limerick band His Father’s Voice deliver a brooding yet purposeful sound with soaring pop melodies, muscular rhythms, and immersive guitars. Building upon debut EP ‘Context and  Perspective’ (2019) and single ‘In the Shade’ (2019), their upcoming debut album  showcases a pummelling yet methodical approach.

Laura Duff

Laura Duff is an artist from Limerick City. Duff introduced herself in 2019 with moody debut EP “For Your Company”, followed by sophomore, alt-pop effort “Heavy Summer” two years later. 2024 sees the Limerick native return to the scene, with a debut album slated for  release later this year. Joined by friends JJ Lee (Bass), Chris O’Sullivan (Drums) and  Mícheál Keating (Guitar), Duff’s hauntingly autobiographical tracks are given an extra  breath of life.

The Low Field

The Low Field are a band based in Limerick, and formed in 2021 from members of  Casavettes, Bleeding Heart Pigeons and Deadbog. Their sound takes influence from these previous projects as well as from bands further afield such as Sinai Vessel, Big Thief, and Land of Talk, with the band’s open lyricism and exploratory instrumental sections  resonating well with audiences. Having won an agility award earlier this year, The Low Field are working on their debut release.

The PVP

Combining a love of Suicide, Stereolab and Shoegaze, The PVP make a blur of  psychadelia infused indie rock. Forming in 2021, the group (Brendan (Drums & Vocals),  James (Keys), Chris (Guitar & Vocals) has been hammering away at their collection of  drones and buzzes for the last few years. They have played with the likes of Pretty Happy, Trá Pháidín and Elaine Malone and featured in The Thin Air in Spring 2023. They have  been working with engineer and friend Chris Ryan on their self titled record, due for  release May 2024.
