About Macdara Yeates

Macdara Yeates is one of the leading young contemporary voices in Dublin’s traditional folk singing scene. Born and raised in Dublin, he has performed across Ireland, the UK, Europe and the US, and has worked with musicians including members of Lankum, Landless and Ye Vagabonds.

His debut album, Traditional Singing from Dublin, was named among MOJO’s Top 10 Folk Albums of the Year and earned two RTÉ Radio 1 Folk Award nominations, including Best Folk Singer.
